How To Make Quick And Easy Air Fryer Lotus Root Chips Recipe
Ingredients
- 2Lotus Stems (you could as many as you want)
- Butter
- Black pepper powder
- Black salt
- Red chili powder
- Oregano
- Red chili flakes
Products I used
Air fryer – I am using Philips digital Air fryer. You could purchase it on amazon as sale is going on and this product is on 32% off ( Buy Here ).
I am not using silicone tray if you want you could use it as it can keep your air fryer clean (Buy Here) to make Air fryer lotus root chips recipe.
Preparation
- Before using lotus stems make sure you clean it properly.
- Keep lotus stems in water for 1 hour to 2 hours to remove the dirt from it as it is root vegetable it needs to be clean properly before making any dish of it.
- Remove the lotus stems from water and clean it again remove the ends of the lotus stems with the help of knife once done peel the skin of the lotus stems with the help of the peeler.
- Once all of it is done chop off lotus stems into small slices as I have done in the above.
- Post that take small peace of butter melt it properly once melted add small slices of lotus stem into melted butter followed by pinch of oregano, red chili flakes, red chili powder, black pepper powder, black salt and mix it all properly as I have shown above.
- Once done put the lotus stems in the air fryer on 180 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes till the time lotus stems are crispy and crunchy.
- Keep on checking lotus stems in between 5 to 10 minutes as it should not be burned or should remain unroasted.
- That’s it remove the lotus roots chips from your air fryer and enjoy.
