Cafes in Delhi: A Cozy Foodie Trail Through Safdarjung Enclave Humayunpur
Discovering new cafes in Delhi is one of my favorite things to do.
I frequently find myself visiting quaint locations, and one of my favorite spots for café hopping is Humayunpur in Safdarjung Enclave.
This neighborhood has a really nice vibe!
It is dotted with charming cafés that provide a wide variety of cuisine at reasonable costs.
Better still, these eateries adhere to stringent standards for quality and portion sizes.
It’s a true hidden gem and a hub for Korean, Tibetan, Himalayan, and Nepalese cuisine, almost like a little North-East in the middle of Delhi!
It has become into my favorite location for discovering new cafés.
LHA Kitchen was one café I was most eager to experience.
I had heard nothing but good things about it, including the food, the environment, and the ambiance.
But my encounter fell short of what I had hoped for.
The cuisine should be worth the lengthy wait, if you’re going to put up with that much.
Regretfully, my taste buds weren’t quite satisfied.
Nevertheless, I did appreciate the serene atmosphere, which makes it a good spot to decompress, whether by yourself or with companions.
It seemed like the ideal place for some alone café time when I went there alone.
I came upon Kori’s, another well-known Korean café, while I was waiting at LHA Kitchen.
Though I was unaware that it was also in Humayunpur, I had heard nothing but great things about it. Why not give it a try, I reasoned. The high point of my day was that impromptu visit.
The food, ambiance, and personnel at Kori’s were all superb. It was a really rewarding and fun experience, so I’m quite happy I found it!
My First ever experience at Kori’s
As I mentioned earlier, my experience at Kori’s café was exceptionally positive.
The café’s delectable cuisine, inviting atmosphere, and captivating ambiance left me yearning for more, prompting me to return and savor an assortment of culinary delights.

I admired their adorable menu card, paintings, and decor.
Here’s Everything I Got My Hands On at Kori’s Café!
Peach Ice Tea
First thing that I had at Kori’s was Peach Ice Tea and let me tell you this drink not at disappointed me definitely must try for everyone.
Kimchi Jjigae
The next dish I tried from Kori’s Café was their Kimchi Jjigae, which is a classic Korean cabbage pickle stew.
Since I had to head over to LHA Kitchen, I asked the staff to pack it for takeaway.
That’s why it might not look picture-perfect here but let’s talk about the flavor.
It was incredibly rich and comforting!
The stew came with a side of kimchi and fried potatoes, and I decided to mix everything together.
Honestly, that little hack made the dish even better it really brought all the flavors to life.
If you’re someone who enjoys warm, hearty stews, you should definitely give this one a try!
Veg Ramen Noodles
The second thing I ordered at Kori’s Cafe was the vegetarian ramen noodles in spicy soup.
It was a great choice! The noodles were perfectly cooked and the soup was full of hearty flavor and calmness.
I didn’t like the tofu served with it, but otherwise the food was perfect.
It was the kimchi aspect that reached an even higher level.
I added it to the soup and the spicy and acidic kick really increased the overall flavor profile.
If you like strong noodle soup, this is a must!
All of this cost me just ₹896, which I think is quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. Kori’s Café truly offers great value for money!
My First ever experience at at LHA Kitchen!
After a long wait, I finally had the opportunity to dine in the LHA kitchen.
The ambiance, pricing and portion size were pretty good, but I have to admit that the court taste and drink I tried was a bit disappointing.
I had heard a lot of great things about this café so my expectations were high, but unfortunately the flavor didn’t give justice to the hype.
These pictures are all from LHA Kitchen. Isn’t the atmosphere of this café so laid back and cool?
Right in front of it, there was another café named Cultured, which also had a pretty wonderful mood and ambiance. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to taste anything from there this time, I will definitely put it on my list for when I do!
Here’s Everything I Got My Hands On at LHA Kitchen !
Kothey Momo
My first meal at this café was kothey momo, which was highly recommended by a number of food bloggers. But it was quite lackluster in my opinion. The taste fell short of my expectations and was quite boring in spite of all the buzz.
Watermelon Mint Juice
The next beverage I tried from this café was the Watermelon Mint Juice. I must admit that it wasn’t as delicious as I had hoped. In addition to not being cold, it lacked the refreshing quality one would normally expect from a beverage of this kind.
Almost non existent was the mint flavor, which seemed to have been included just for show. I would say no since, all in all, it was rather uninteresting and disappointing.
Jhol Momo
At last, even though my stomach was full, my heart wasn’t, so I ordered Jhol Momo to go and ate it at home.
I had to try it as one of my friends said it tastes better than Kothey Momo.
And I must say that this dish did not let you down!
I really liked it; the overall flavor and degree of heat were perfect. A must-try from this café, without a doubt!
I spent ₹619 on all of this, which was fair considering the amount. Two of the items I sampled, though, fell short in terms of quality. Overall I could say it was worth visiting these 2 cafes in Delhi.
Snackie finds from Humayunpur in Safdarjung Enclave
Following my visits to two cafes in Delhi’s Humayunpur in Safdarjung Enclave, I began to look around the market.
I decided to stop into a couple of the tiny stores I saw while strolling around to get some munchies.
Bibimmyeon Paldo Ramen
One of my favorite ramen noodles is undoubtedly this one!
I used these noodles to make a tasty meal the last time, and it was a huge success.
That blog entry is available here – [link].
I had to buy them again because they’re often out of stock online.
Fortunately, a lot of packets of this taste are still available in physical places.
Mini Rice Cracker – Truffle Mushroom Flavor
I then discovered a packet of Mini Rice Crackers in the flavor of truffle mushrooms at a small store there.
It wasn’t my thing, to be honest.
It was too bland for my taste, therefore I didn’t like it very much.
You might like this if you like mild-flavored snacks if not, I would advise avoiding it.
Mini Rice Cracker – Devil Spicy Flavor
However, these mini rice crackers with a Devil spicy flavor are fantastic.
They are a must-try since they are so tasty and spicy.
I enjoyed this flavor so much that I ordered two additional packages from Amazon.
You shouldn’t miss this delicious sensation.
Laphing
Laphing was the last thing that I tried from here because, well, why not?
I ordered the vendor to make it more spicy when I bought it from Laphing Corner.
To be honest, this one was quite spicy, but I had already eaten laphing from another store, and it tasted even better.
This one was still nice, but it was different.
You won’t be let down if you try the laphing from here, in my opinion.
Ice creams that I am loving lately
I have been experimenting with different ice cream flavors, and since I have found my favorites, I thought I would include them in this blog post.
KWALITY WALL’S TWICE AS NICE FRUIT & NUT
This flavor of ice cream is incredible! I bought many tubs because I enjoyed it so much. As someone who likes fruity and nutty ice cream, this flavor is excellent. You should give it a try if you like chocolate or ice cream with nut and fruit flavors.
Havmor Ice Cream | Cassata
Wow, what is this incredible flavor?
It’s delicious and looks great.
I regret not trying this ice cream sooner because it’s so delicious.
It offers a range of fruity flavors, as the picture illustrates.
Without a doubt, you must try this ice cream.
Magnus Ice cream Pistachio Flavor
Since pistachios are one of my favorite dried fruits, I decided to test this flavor even if I wasn’t sure about it. The taste of this ice cream was so delicious that it was almost like eating real pistachios. If you enjoy pistachios, you should definitely try this flavor of ice cream. It’s well worth the investment.
