FAQs
What are coffee banana popsicles?
Coffee, bananas, and other ingredients (such as milk, nut butter, or chocolate) are blended and frozen in popsicle molds to create these frozen delicacies. The end product is a creamy, chilled popsicle with coffee flavor that’s ideal for summer or as a cool snack.
Can I make them without added sugar?
Yes, if you want a less sweet, healthier version, you can use your bananas as the natural sweetener instead of adding sugar or chocolate drizzle.
Do the bananas need to be frozen before blending?
Not strictly speaking, but adding frozen banana slices thickens the mixture and makes the popsicles creamier.
This is a nice suggestion if you’re looking for a smooth texture.
Can I make dairy-free coffee banana popsicles?
Indeed! To make them dairy-free, use almond, oat, soy, or coconut milk instead of conventional milk. For a lighter flavor and texture, plant-based milk is used in many recipes.
How long does it take to freeze the popsicles?
Depending on your mold and freezer temperature, they usually require at least 4–6 hours or overnight to fully set in the freezer.
Are coffee banana popsicles a healthy snack?
They are able to! They are kept naturally sweet and minimal in added sugars by using ripe bananas and unsweetened plant-based milk. You can also add healthy fats like peanut butter for extra nutrition.
How long can I store them?
Coffee banana popsicles can be kept in the freezer for up to a week if they are wrapped individually or kept in a sealed container, although fresh flavor is greatest after a few days.
